What drop-off costs at London Stansted Airport, the official car parks, and where coaches and groups go instead.
From 19 March 2026 the Express Set Down charge rose to £10 for up to 15 minutes (it was £7, unchanged since 2012), with higher tiers for longer. The zone is barrierless — cameras read your plate and you pay online by midnight the next day. To pay nothing at all, use the free drop-off at the Mid Stay car park and take the free shuttle bus to the terminal. Short Stay sits right by the terminal for when you need to wait for an arriving group.
