What drop-off costs at Edinburgh Airport, the official car parks, and where coaches and groups go instead.
Dropping off at the terminal costs £8.50 for up to ten minutes on the ground floor of the multi-storey, then £1 a minute after that — or nothing at all if you use the free zone, which allows 30 minutes but sits a ten-minute walk away with no shuttle bus. Blue Badge holders get an hour free, and residents of a handful of nearby postcodes can claim half off the first ten minutes. The forecourt has been cashless since July 2025, so bring a card.
