Coach & group travel at Edinburgh Airport
EDI · EGPH · Edinburgh
How a group is collected by coach at Edinburgh Airport — the meeting points, the timing, and what we handle for you.
The coach & group pick-up playbook
Edinburgh keeps coaches simple — there is no permit to buy and nothing to pre-book. Coaches, and any minibus with eight seats or more, use the coach park to the south of the multi-storey and pay by how long they stay, from £9 for the first ten minutes up to £40 an hour. Because the tariff climbs by the ten-minute band, the trick is a prompt meet: your group leader checks in at the terminal via the crossing point at stand 10, and the coach comes forward to load.
| Terminal | Coach stand | Meet your group |
|---|---|---|
| MAIN | Coach park south of the multi-storey; check in at the terminal via the crossing point at stand 10 | Arrivals hall, ground floor of the terminal building |
“We meet Edinburgh groups in the arrivals hall and time our coach so it is on the stand as your party clears baggage reclaim — keeping the coach-park duration low, since Edinburgh charges the coach park by the ten-minute band rather than issuing a flat permit.”— Airport Coaches · first-person operational note
Timing & rules
Coaches (and minibuses with 8 or more seats) use the coach park to the south of the multi-storey and pay by duration on the tiered tariff above. There is no permit and no advance booking; charges rise steeply with time on site, so groups are best met promptly. Group leaders check in at the terminal using the crossing point at stand 10.
