Since 6 January 2026 dropping off carries a charge, and the pick-up and car parks sit behind a height barrier that a full-size coach cannot pass. Collecting a group by coach
London City runs nothing like Heathrow's coach-permit machine — there is no permit scheme and no dedicated coach park published. That is the good news and the catch in one. A minibus within the 3.3-metre height limit can use the standard Drop-off (ten-minute maximum) or the Pick-up car park (from £10 for the first twenty minutes).
