Heathrow parking & drop-off
LHR · EGLL · West London
What the drop-off really costs, every official car park with its satnav postcode, and where coaches and groups go instead.
Dropping off costs £7 every time you enter a terminal forecourt — or nothing at all if you use a Park & Ride car park within its 29 free minutes and take the transfer bus. Heathrow renamed its car parks in 2026 (Short Stay is now Terminal Parking, Long Stay is Park & Ride); the postcodes below are the ones your satnav needs.

The £7 drop-off — and the free alternative
A £7 charge applies every time a vehicle enters a terminal drop-off area — pay online or by phone (0330 008 5600) by midnight the next day, never at the zone. Non-payment becomes an £80 charge (£40 if paid within 14 days). To pay nothing, use a Park & Ride car park: the first 29 minutes are free and a transfer bus runs to the terminal.

Coaches & groups
Coaches don’t use the forecourt drop-off like cars. Every charter coach collecting a group must pre-book a West Ramp Coach Park permit (£73.20 inc VAT) and route via WRCP first.
